Teddington is a German specialist in air curtain systems and technologies with more than 50 years of experience. We develop and manufacture our air curtain systems in Germany and combine our own technological developments with project-specific planning and advice.
Our aim is to reduce heating and cooling losses through open doors and industrial doors, thereby reducing the associated demand for heating and cooling energy. Drawing on decades of experience and a wide range of air curtain solutions, we support projects across a variety of applications and building situations.

From standard configurations to project-specific solutions, our air curtain systems are manufactured and configured to meet different project requirements. Defined processes accompany each project from order processing through to delivery.
Teddington air curtain systems are selected and configured according to the requirements of the individual entrance situation. Factors such as door dimensions, installation height and wind exposure are taken into account during planning to ensure that the system is appropriately sized and configured.
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015. In addition, performance data for our air curtains is determined and verified in accordance with ISO 27327.
Independent and family-owned
As an independent, family-owned company and the oldest German air curtain manufacturer still operating in the market, Teddington develops and manufactures its air curtain systems at its site in Buchholz (Mendt), Germany. In-house production, short decision-making processes and close cooperation between development, manufacturing and project planning enable us to respond flexibly to individual project requirements. For us, ‘Made in Germany’ represents a high standard of quality – from precision manufacturing and careful assembly through to the final inspection of every unit.
