Accessories for your air curtain
Every building situation is different. With our wide range of accessories for different applications, the air curtain can be adapted even better to your specific requirements and comfort can be increased right up to fully automatic operation.
Contact switch
TK
Door contact for industrial air curtains
The door contact is connected to the air curtain controller, enabling automatic operation based on the door position. In automatic mode, the air curtain switches on when the door opens and switches off again when the door closes.
TKB
Touchless door contact
The door contact is connected to the control components of the Air Curtain and enables automatic operation in automatic mode. When the door opens, the contact activates the Air Curtain; when the door closes, the device is automatically switched off again.
Mounting accessories
AVS
Suspension cover for air curtains
The AVS suspension cover ensures a clean and visually appealing appearance by elegantly concealing the supply lines and threaded rods of the Air Curtain.
DBE
Ceiling installation frame for mounting in suspended ceilings
The recessed ceiling frame consists of four precision-fit sections and is designed for air curtains with housing type U. It can be positioned as required at suspended ceiling level and secured to the unit with screws, allowing neat integration into suspended ceilings and ensuring an attractive overall appearance.
DH
Ceiling bracket for horizontal installation of air curtain systems
The ceiling bracket consists of a 1 m long threaded rod and a robust mounting bracket with integrated vibration damper. It allows stable horizontal installation of an air curtain at four to eight points, with the damper reliably reducing vibrations.
DHD
Comfort ceiling bracket for horizontal installation of air curtain systems
The comfort ceiling bracket consists of a 1 m long threaded rod, a sound-insulated mounting bracket, a turnbuckle and an integrated vibration damper. It enables stable horizontal installation of an air curtain at 4–8 points and reduces vibrations and operating noise.
SBW
Mounting brackets for ceiling installation
The mounting brackets allow the air curtain to be mounted directly to the ceiling when suspension using threaded rods is not possible. Depending on the housing type, they are attached to either the short or long side, ensuring a compact, secure installation even where space is limited.
WHK
Wall bracket for mounting on the wall
The wall bracket enables air curtains to be securely mounted on the wall. It is first mounted on the wall. It is then attached to the air curtain at the designated mounting points at the top of the unit. This enables safe and space-saving installation without ceiling suspension.
Temperature sensor
AT
Outdoor temperature sensor
The PT 1000 outdoor temperature sensor is mounted on the outside of the building and records the current temperature. The data is transmitted to the TCX control board of the air curtain, which automatically selects the appropriate fan speed and switches between summer and winter mode.
ERF
Room temperature sensor
The PT 1000 room sensor is installed indoors and continuously measures the room temperature. The values are transmitted to the TCX control board of the air curtain, which automatically adjusts the fan speed and heating mode to reliably maintain the desired temperature indoors.
Thermostats
ERT
Room thermostat
The electromechanical room thermostat controls the Air Curtain according to the set room temperature. If the room temperature is below the set value, the Air Curtain is switched on at the base load level and runs until the temperature is above the set threshold value again.
IRT
Room thermostat for industrial applications
The electromechanical room thermostat for industrial applications controls the heated air curtain based on the selected room temperature. If the temperature falls below the setpoint, the air curtain operates at base load until the threshold is reached.
FTE
Frost protection thermostat to protect the heat exchanger
The frost protection thermostat is installed on the heat exchanger of the air curtain and protects against frost. A 3 m capillary tube sensor measures the temperature. If it falls below 7 °C, the thermostat signals the control board to open all valves and switch off the fans to prevent cooling.
FTM
Frost protection thermostat to protect the heat exchanger
The frost protection thermostat is mounted on the heat exchanger of the air curtain and protects against frost. A 1 m capillary tube sensor measures the temperature. If it falls below 7 °C, the thermostat signals the control board to open all valves and switch off the fans to prevent cooling.
Valves
CC
Pressure-independent control valve for the automatic hydraulic balancing of heat exchangers
The pressure-independent CC control valve is a combined 2-way control and regulating valve for heating systems with closed circuits. It ensures automatic flow control regardless of the differential pressure and is ideal for automatic hydraulic balancing.
HCC
High-flow 2-way control valve
The HCC regulating valve is a high-flow 2-way control valve designed for the hydraulic balancing of heating
systems. It is used in the pipework of hot-water central heating systems and enables hydraulic balancing as well as the regulation of the water flow rate at the heat exchanger.
KR-2
2-way valve with thermostatic temperature controller
The KR‑2 is a 2‑way control valve for controlling the discharge temperature of air curtains. The desired temperature is set manually on the thermostat head, a remote sensor measures the current temperature and automatically regulates the flow of the heating medium for a constant, efficient temperature.
KR-3
3-way valve with thermostatic temperature controller
The KR-3 is a three-way control valve for controlling the discharge air temperature of air curtains. The required temperature is set manually using the thermostatic head. A remote sensor with a capillary tube measures the discharge air temperature directly in the fan chamber. Temperature sensing is entirely mechanical and uses a liquid-filled system.
MR-2
2-way valve with electric motor actuator
The 2-way control valve with electric motor actuator regulates the constant outlet temperature of the air curtain. A temperature sensor in the outlet area monitors the temperature, and the TCX control sends signals to open or close the actuator depending on the measured values.
MV
Solenoid valve for automatic water shut-off during summer operation
The solenoid valve, controlled by the Teddington control board, ensures automatic water shut-off during summer operation of the air curtain, so that the air curtain runs in ambient mode without water heating.
TAV
Thermoelectric shut-off valve
This 2-way valve with thermoelectric actuator is connected to the Teddington control board and regulates the water supply to the air curtain. In summer, it remains closed for ambient mode without water heating; in winter, it opens and activates the heating function.
Sound insulation
SDA
Sound-absorbing insulation
Teddington air curtains can be optionally equipped with sound-absorbing insulation. This further reduces the already low operating noise of the units, ensuring a particularly pleasant working environment.
