Maintenance of your air curtain system

Teddington air curtains are designed to require little maintenance, but regular servicing is still important. We recommend a full service once a year, preferably during the summer months, to ensure that the system is ready for operation when required.

Benefits of air curtain systems

Reduced energy losses

Heated or cooled indoor air can escape through open, unprotected doors. Air curtains reduce this air exchange and the associated heating or cooling losses, which can reduce heating or cooling requirements.

Reduced energy requirements

Lower heating or cooling requirements can – depending on the energy system used – also reduce the associated greenhouse gas emissions.

Improved indoor comfort

Air curtains can reduce draughts and the ingress of cold or warm outside air through open entrances, helping to improve indoor comfort.

Why choose Teddington air curtains?

Patented CONVERGO® technology

The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system provides precisely directed airflow while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtains with air guide vanes. Depending on the building, door and operating conditions, CONVERGO® technology can reduce energy losses at an open, unprotected door by up to 80%.

Consulting & service

Our team supports you with technical questions and projects – on site, by phone or by email.

Tested quality

Every Teddington air curtain is individually tested before delivery. Performance data such as airflow rates, discharge velocities and sound emissions are specified in accordance with ISO 27327 and monitored by ILK Dresden. We therefore provide a five-year warranty, excluding current-carrying, water-bearing and rotating parts.
