The most important functions explained
External release:
The device is enabled by a BMS via external enable. The external release takes place via a potential-free contact.
Summer / winter function:
It is easy to switch between summer and winter mode via the control unit.
In summer mode, all connected heating valves are closed. The air curtain then operates in ambient mode.
In winter mode, shut-off valves are opened and control valves resume normal operation. The discharged air is heated accordingly.
Manual / Automatic-Function:
It is easy to switch between manual and automatic mode via the control unit.
In manual mode, the Air Curtain system runs independently of automatic signals (e.g. door contact).
In automatic mode, the Air Curtain system is switched on or off by external signals.
Room thermostat und room sensor:
The Air Curtain system can be set to operate depending on the room temperature.
Operating and fault message:
The control unit continuously emits a status message via potential-free signals. The operating or fault message can be processed by the BMS to monitor the Air Curtain system.
Weekly timer:
The Air Curtain system is switched on and off depending on stored switching times.
After-run function:
To avoid constantly switching the Air Curtain system on and off, a after-run time can be set to allow the unit to continue running for a short time after the door is closed.
Speed control from the BMS:
For automatic mode, a speed for the fans in the Air Curtain system can be specified by the BMS. This is done via a 0-10 V signal (or 4-20 mA signal with TCX).
Expandable with Ethernet module:
With the optional Ethernet module for the TCX control unit, all essential device functions can be controlled via the BMS. The Modbus and BACnet (TCP/IP) protocols are available for this purpose.
Multi-master function:
One control panel can be used for several independently operating Air Curtain systems. A lean solution for large entrance areas with several independent Air Curtains.

The most important functions explained:
Manual / automatic function:
Manual control of the Air Curtain (without an external signal such as a door contact) or in automatic mode with external signals.
Repair switch:
Repair switch installed on the switch cabinet, which interrupts the power supply to the Air Curtain and the components inside the switch cabinet.
Operating and fault signal:
The BMS can pick up and process the potential-free fault/operating signals. In addition, lights on the control cabinet indicate whether the Air Curtain is in operation or in fault mode.
External release reset:
Enabling or blocking of the Air Curtain by means of a potential-free contact. In addition, faults can be acknowledged via a potential-free contact after they have been rectified.
Summer / winter function:
A switch on the control cabinet can be used to select between summer mode (all connected heating valves are closed) and winter mode (all connected heating valves are open).
Frost protection function:
If the air intake temperature falls below 7 °C, the frost protection thermostat (optionally available) switches off the fans and opens the connected valves to prevent frost damage to the heat exchanger.
Fixed base load level:
The Air Curtain runs at fan speed 1 until the desired setpoint temperature is reached. An industrial thermostat (optionally available) is required for this function.
Adjustable base load level:
The Air Curtain runs at a desired fan speed until the desired setpoint temperature is reached. An industrial thermostat (optionally available) is required for this function.
After-run function automatic contact:
Adjustable run-on time to prevent the Air Curtain from constantly switching on and off when the door is closed and opened.
Integrated weekly timer:
The Air Curtain is switched on and off automatically according to the selected switching times.
Speed control from the BMS:
0-10 V signal control of the fans via the BMS in automatic mode.
Ethernet module (Modbus, BACnet):
Control of the air curtain by means of an Ethernet board (already integrated) via Modbus (TCP/IP) or BACnet.
