TCX – Touchscreen controller for air curtains
The TCX controller makes it easy to control and configure your Teddington air curtain system. With just a few settings, the system can be adapted to suit your individual requirements – from a single air curtain to a complex installation with multiple units.
Depending on the configuration, TCX provides functions including temperature-dependent operation, fan speed control, weekly timer, fault monitoring and integration into building management systems (BMS).
Flexible control and system configuration
The TCX system can control up to 64 air curtain units, either in parallel or individually, depending on the system configuration. Multiple units can be operated from a single control panel.
With the optional Ethernet module, TCX and TCX-E can be integrated into a building management system via Modbus TCP/IP or BACnet.
The touchscreen provides access to settings including temperature, fan speed and operating mode. Software updates and configuration data can be transferred via the integrated micro SD card slot.

Integration into building management systems
With the optional Ethernet module, the TCX controller can be integrated into a building management system via Modbus TCP/IP or BACnet. This allows air curtain functions and operating data to be incorporated into the building automation system.
TCX Modbus RTU – Direct BMS integration without a TCX control panel
Modbus RTU allows Teddington air curtains to be integrated directly into a building management system without an additional TCX control panel. Communication takes place via the Modbus RTU interface on the TCX board.
The protocol allows operating parameters to be transmitted between the air curtain and the BMS, enabling functions such as fan speed control and the reading of status information.
The TCX board can be pre-configured at the factory with project-specific parameters, such as the required fan speed or run-on time.
A TCX control panel and Ethernet module are not required for Modbus RTU operation. Only the TCX board with the Modbus RTU interface is required.
