Air curtain for revolving doors
Rondo is a specially designed air curtain for revolving doors and is available in three housing types for horizontal installation. Depending on the door and installation situation, the unit can be installed above the revolving door or concealed within a suspended ceiling in front of it.
For installation directly above the revolving door, different housing types allow the air to be discharged either inside or outside the revolving door enclosure. Teddington has defined specifications with leading revolving door manufacturers, allowing each Rondo system to be manufactured to suit the dimensions and design of the respective door.
With all three housing types, the air curtain remains largely concealed. The radius of the air discharge section is manufactured to match the geometry of the revolving door, while different colour and finish options allow the visible components to be coordinated with the door design.
Due to its curved construction, the Rondo does not use the CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system. Instead, its air discharge system is specifically designed to follow the geometry of the revolving door.
The Rondo has been developed specifically for revolving doors. Depending on the installation situation, different housing types allow the air curtain to be integrated above the door or into the surrounding ceiling construction.

Custom colours for visible components
Visible components of the Rondo can be powder-coated to coordinate with the revolving door and surrounding architecture. A wide range of RAL colours is available, with custom finishes available on request. The cover panel is also available in stainless steel.
Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our Air Curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Solenoid valve
The solenoid valve, controlled by the Teddington control board, automatically shuts off the water in summer mode so that the air curtain runs in recirculation mode without heating.
Frost protection thermostat
The frost protection thermostat mounted on the heat exchanger measures the temperature via a capillary sensor. Below 7 °C, it instructs the control system to open valves and switch off fans to prevent frost damage.
Sound insulation
The air curtain can also be fitted with sound-absorbing insulation to further reduce operating noise.
