Sintra
Vertical air curtain for curved sliding doors and confined spaces
The Sintra is a vertically installed design air curtain for entrance areas with very limited space alongside the door. Its 90° discharge angle allows the slim unit to be positioned directly beside the doorway or in confined spaces. This makes the Sintra particularly suitable for curved sliding doors, where it can be installed inside the curved entrance enclosure to save space.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system produces a stable, precisely directed air stream. The 90° airflow deflection directs the air stream across the doorway, reducing the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. This can help to reduce the loss of heated or cooled air as well as draughts around the entrance.
With a housing depth of just 24.7 cm, the Sintra requires very little floor space. Depending on the power level, door widths of up to 4.80 m can be covered with units installed on both sides. Different unit heights as well as custom colours and finishes allow the air curtain to be adapted to the respective door and building situation.
Precisely directed airflow for effective air separation while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtain systems.

Technical data
Vertical air curtain with 90° discharge for curved sliding doors and confined spaces
Sintra air curtains feature a 90° discharge angle, allowing the slim units to be installed where there is very little space alongside the doorway. This makes them particularly suitable for corner installations and curved sliding doors. In curved entrance enclosures, the units can be positioned inside the enclosure and direct the air stream across the doorway at a 90° angle.

Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Solenoid valve
The solenoid valve, controlled by the Teddington control board, automatically shuts off the water in summer mode so that the air curtain runs in recirculation mode without heating.
Door contact
With the door contact, the control system switches on the air curtain as soon as the door is opened. When the door is closed, the air curtain is automatically switched off again.
Sound insulation
The air curtain can also be fitted with sound-absorbing insulation to further reduce operating noise.
