C-Series Industry
Air curtain for loading bay and dock doors
The C-Series Industry has been developed specifically for smaller industrial doors and loading bay and dock areas in industrial and logistics buildings. With a recommended installation height of up to 3.30 m, it is particularly suitable for loading doors that are opened frequently, resulting in regular air exchange between indoor and outdoor areas.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system produces a stable, precisely directed air stream while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtains with air guide vanes. This can reduce the exchange of indoor and outdoor air through the open door and help to limit the ingress of cold outside air and draughts.
The C-Series Industry can be installed horizontally above the door or vertically alongside it. Different housing types as well as a choice of heating and fan options allow the air curtain to be adapted to different door and building situations. Its filterless design also reduces routine maintenance requirements.

2 of 6The aerodynamically shaped air intake grille is made from slotted sheet metal and provides a clean, functional appearance.
3 of 6The nozzle can be adjusted in defined increments, allowing the air discharge angle to be set precisely.
4 of 6The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost continuously across the entire length of the unit. When several units are installed side by side, this allows a largely continuous discharge area to be created across the doorway.

The large nozzle sidewalls help to guide the airflow through the discharge opening. An additional flow profile divides the airflow into a primary and secondary air stream. The higher discharge velocity of the primary air stream increases the penetration depth of the airflow.

Depending on the door and building situation, the C-Series Industry is available in different housing types for horizontal or vertical installation.
Housing type S
Horizontal visible installation,
air intake at the front.
Housing type U
For visible installation or integration into a suspended ceiling, with air intake from below and the underside of the unit remaining visible. An optional ceiling installation frame is available.
Housing type S-V
Vertical visible installation, air intake at the front.
Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Frost protection thermostat
The frost protection thermostat mounted on the heat exchanger measures the temperature via a capillary sensor. Below 7 °C, it signals the control system to open the valves and switch off the fans to help prevent frost damage.
Door contact
The door contact is connected to the air curtain control system and enables automatic operation: when the door opens, it switches on the air curtain; when the door closes, the device is automatically deactivated again.

Individual colours
Teddington air curtains are powder-coated to a high standard and supplied in RAL 9016 Traffic White as standard. Six additional colours are available for a small surcharge, with custom colours available on request.
