Elegant air curtain with a gently curved design
The Teddington Ellipse air curtain combines timeless design with effective air separation and has been developed for entrance areas where appearance is just as important as function. With its slim, gently curved shape, the air curtain integrates harmoniously into both classic and modern architectural concepts.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system produces a stable, precisely directed air stream and reduces the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. Depending on the power level, the Ellipse is suitable for recommended installation heights of up to 4.40 m. This can help to reduce the loss of heated or cooled air as well as draughts around the entrance.
The Ellipse is designed for exposed horizontal installation and can be manufactured in custom unit lengths from 1,000 to 3,000 mm. Different powder-coated finishes, a stainless steel finish and custom colours provide a wide range of options for adapting the unit to its architectural surroundings. Optional integrated LED spotlights and other special features offer further design possibilities.

Elegant air curtain for visible horizontal installation
The Ellipse is designed for exposed horizontal installation. With its front air intake, it can be installed directly above the doorway or at greater heights up to the maximum recommended installation height. Its gently curved housing makes the air curtain particularly suitable for entrance areas where the unit forms a visible part of the interior design.

Engineered design, high-quality manufacturing

1 of 6CNC manufacturing of the housing components enables a high level of dimensional accuracy and consistent manufacturing quality.
2 of 6The aerodynamically shaped air intake grille is made from perforated sheet metal and complements the gently curved housing design.
3 of 6The CONVERGO® nozzle can be adjusted in defined increments, allowing the air discharge angle to be set precisely.
4 of 6The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost continuously across the entire length of the unit. When several units are installed side by side, this allows a largely continuous discharge area to be created across the doorway.
5 of 6The large nozzle sidewalls help to guide the airflow through the discharge opening. An additional flow profile divides the airflow into a primary and secondary air stream. The higher discharge velocity of the primary air stream increases the penetration depth of the airflow.
6 of 6Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Suspension cover
The AVS suspension cover conceals the supply lines and threaded rods of the air curtain, ensuring a clean, high-quality appearance.
Sound insulation
The air curtain can also be fitted with sound-absorbing insulation to further reduce operating noise.

Teddington air curtains are powder-coated to a high standard and supplied in RAL 9016 Traffic White as standard. Six additional colours are available for a small surcharge, with custom colours available on request.
