Air Curtains for cold storage
The Friguvent Air Curtain is the ideal solution for effectively separating temperature zones in cold storage and deep-freeze areas. As soon as the door of a cold storage is opened, it creates a stable, invisible air barrier that significantly reduces the exchange between cold inside and warm outside air. This intelligent technology minimises cooling losses, significantly reduces energy consumption and reliably protects against the formation of ice, condensation and mist.
Particularly in areas with frequently frequented cold storages, the Air Curtain pays for itself through optimised operating efficiency and a noticeable reduction in the load on the cooling units. The reduced ice formation reduces maintenance costs, as defrosting is required less frequently. At the same time, the Friguvent improves safety in the working environment – better visibility and the elimination of conventional plastic curtains significantly reduce the risk of accidents, for example due to slipping on slippery floors.

IP54 protection class: Ideal for use in demanding environments
The air intake grille made of sheet metal with slotted holes is aerodynamically shaped and has an attractive appearance.
The fine adjustment by means of a grid enables the air discharge angle of the CONVERGO® nozzle to be set precisely.
The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost the entire length of the appliance without interruption. This ensures maximum efficiency when several appliances are installed in series.
The large nozzle cheeks ensure a clean air flow. An additional flow profile divides the air flow into a primary and secondary jet. The increased outlet velocity in the primary jet leads to an even greater penetration depth.
