E-Series
Powerful air curtains for commercial and retail applications
In retail and commercial environments, frequently opened entrances are part of everyday operations. Whether in supermarkets, shopping centres, furniture stores, DIY stores, car dealerships or office buildings, every time a door opens, indoor and outdoor air are exchanged. The result is draughts, energy loss and reduced comfort for customers and employees. In summer, warm outside air enters the building; in winter, valuable heating energy escapes.
The Teddington E-Series has been developed specifically for these requirements. It creates a powerful, even air stream that reliably separates the indoor and outdoor areas without restricting access for customers or staff. In this way, the E-Series helps to reduce heating and cooling costs, stabilise the indoor climate and deliver a lasting improvement in comfort around the entrance area.
Efficient shielding and flexible adjustment
The patented CONVERGO® nozzle technology ensures a high discharge range of up to 4.40 m and minimal energy consumption. Draughts, dust and insects are reliably kept away from the entrance area. The units are custom-made and available in different lengths and designs, allowing them to be flexibly adapted to all door sizes, room heights and performance requirements.
The Air Curtains can be mounted either suspended or standing. Various heating options are available for warm air curtains, including recirculating air, hot water (LTHW), electric, VRF (R410a / R32) or hybrid solutions (LTHW / electric).
The E-Series is available with both conventional AC fans and energy-saving EC fans. The latter enable infinitely variable power control and contribute to particularly efficient use. The maximum nominal volume flow is between 2,100 and 14,500 m³/h, which also effectively shields large entrance areas.

- The E-Series Industry was developed specifically for smaller industrial doors.

The E-Series is available in a wide range of configurations for different installation requirements, including exposed wall or ceiling mounting, semi-recessed and fully recessed ceiling installation, as well as vertical installation beside the doorway.
E-Series S
Powerful air curtain for visible horizontal installation
The E-Series air curtain in housing type S is the classic solution for effective separation of indoor and outdoor air. With its frontal intake, it can be installed either directly above the door or up to the maximum recommended installation height.

High-performance air curtain for visible or suspended ceiling installation
With housing type U, air is drawn into the unit from below. This configuration is suitable where a front air intake is not possible. An optional mounting frame allows the unit to be discreetly integrated into a suspended ceiling.

E-Series UDB
High-performance air curtain for installation flush with the ceiling
The air intake from below of an air curtain is an effective solution if the device is to be integrated into the suspended ceiling. The ceiling installation frame, which is permanently welded to the air curtain, ensures that the air curtain is integrated flush with the suspended ceiling.

High-performance air curtain for almost invisible suspended ceiling installation
With housing type ZS, the air intake is located above the suspended ceiling, leaving only the discharge opening visible from below. This allows the unit to be integrated particularly discreetly into the ceiling.

Powerful air curtain for visible horizontal installation
The E-Series air curtain in housing type R is ta slimline solution for entrance areas with limited space above the door for entrance areas when there is little space above the door. The air intake is at the top of the air curtain so that only the rounded sheet metal on the side and the air discharge nozzle at the bottom are visible.

The air curtain in the RZ design is a space-saving solution within the suspended ceiling. The intake area is located in the suspended ceiling at the top of the air curtain, only the outlet opening is visible below the false ceiling.

High-performance air curtain for visible vertical installation
The E-Series S-V air curtain is the vertical version of the E-Series for positioning to the right and/or left of the door. The air intake is from the room side and creates an effective separation of indoor and outdoor air. It complements our portfolio of vertical units with an air curtain in the classic rectangular shape. Industrial doors up to a width of 5.0 m can also be effectively shielded.

3 of 7The fine adjustment by means of a grid enables the air discharge angle of the CONVERGO® nozzle to be set precisely.
4 of 7The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost the entire length of the appliance without interruption. This ensures maximum efficiency when several appliances are installed in series.
5 of 7The large nozzle cheeks ensure a clean air flow. An additional flow profile divides the air flow into a primary and secondary jet. The increased outlet velocity in the primary jet leads to an even greater penetration depth.
6 of 7A separate flap, which can be opened without any special tools (a coin is all that is needed), filter maintenance can be carried out in a few simple steps.

A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Suspension cover
The AVS suspension cover conceals the supply lines and threaded rods of the air curtain, ensuring a clean, high-quality appearance.
Sound insulation
The air curtain can also be fitted with sound-absorbing insulation to further reduce operating noise.
