The versatile air curtain for the retail sector
The Teddington C-Series is a versatile air curtain designed for frequently used entrances in retail and commercial premises. Whether in shops, supermarkets or other commercial entrance areas, the C-Series reduces the exchange of indoor and outdoor air without restricting customer access. This can help to reduce the loss of heated or cooled air as well as draughts around the entrance.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle technology provides precise airflow control while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtain systems. In heated units, this also means that less air needs to be heated. Depending on the power level, the C-Series is suitable for recommended installation heights of up to 3.30 m.
Different housing types allow for horizontal or vertical installation as well as integration into suspended ceilings, enabling the C-Series to be adapted to a wide range of entrance situations and architectural requirements in the retail sector.
For smaller industrial doors, such as those at lorry loading bays or loading docks, the Teddington C-Series Industry has been developed specifically for industrial applications.

Flexible air curtain for visible horizontal installation
The horizontal air curtain of the C-Series housing type S is the classic solution for effective separation of indoor and outdoor air. With its frontal air intake, it can be installed either directly above the door or up to the maximum recommended installation height.

C-Series U
Flexible air curtain for visible or suspended ceiling installation
With housing type U, air is drawn into the unit from below. This is suitable where a front air intake is not possible, for example due to the ceiling construction. An optional installation frame allows the air curtain to be discreetly integrated into a suspended ceiling.

C-Series Z
Flexible air curtain for suspended ceiling installation
The horizontal air curtain in housing type Z is the perfect solution if the device is not to be visible in the entrance area. Only the air intake and air discharge openings are visible on the suspended ceiling.

C-Series ZS
Flexible air curtain for discreet ceiling integration
With housing type ZS, the air intake is located above the suspended ceiling. Only the air discharge opening remains visible from below, allowing the air curtain to be integrated particularly discreetly into the ceiling.

Flexible air curtain for vertical installation
The C-Series in housing type S-V is designed for vertical installation directly beside the doorway. Depending on the required door width, units can be installed on one or both sides of the entrance. With units installed on both sides, door widths of up to 5.20 m can be covered.

1 of 6CNC manufacturing of the housing components enables a high level of dimensional accuracy and consistent manufacturing quality. The clean, linear design allows the unit to be integrated into a range of architectural environments.
2 of 6The sheet-metal air intake grille features slotted openings and a streamlined design.
3 of 6The graduated adjustment mechanism allows the discharge angle of the CONVERGO® nozzle to be set precisely.
4 of 6The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost continuously across the entire length of the unit. When several units are installed side by side, this allows a largely continuous discharge area to be created across the doorway.
5 of 6The large nozzle sidewalls help to guide the airflow through the discharge opening. An additional flow profile divides the airflow into a primary and secondary air stream. The higher discharge velocity of the primary air stream increases the penetration depth of the airflow.
6 of 6Easy filter maintenance
A separate access panel can be opened without tools, providing quick and easy access to the filters for maintenance. Its design also prevents accidental contact with functional components.
Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Suspension cover
The AVS suspension cover conceals the supply lines and threaded rods of the air curtain, ensuring a clean, high-quality appearance.
Sound insulation
The air curtain can also be fitted with sound-absorbing insulation to further reduce operating noise.

Teddington air curtains are powder-coated to a high standard and supplied in RAL 9016 Traffic White as standard. Six additional colours are available for a small surcharge, with custom colours available on request.
