Versatile air curtain for industrial doors
The Teddington Ratiovent is a versatile industrial air curtain for industrial doors in production facilities, warehouses and logistics centres. With five different housing types for horizontal or vertical installation, the system can be adapted to a wide range of door and building situations.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system produces a stable, precisely directed air stream across the door opening while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtain systems. This reduces the exchange of indoor and outdoor air through open industrial doors and can help to limit the ingress of cold outside air and draughts.
For horizontal installation, the Ratiovent is suitable for recommended installation heights of up to 5.50 m. Vertical configurations can cover door widths of up to 5.50 m with units installed on one side and up to 11.00 m with units installed on both sides.
Its modular design and different housing types make the Ratiovent suitable for a wide range of industrial door configurations, including situations where door mechanisms, guide rails or limited installation space need to be taken into account.
For particularly tall doors the Ratiovent Turbo is recommended.

Powerful industrial air curtain for horizontal installation
With its centrally positioned discharge nozzle, the Ratiovent SW is designed for horizontal installation above industrial doors, including situations where the door mechanism is located above the opening. Air is drawn into the unit from above. Its modular design allows several units to be combined for wider door openings.

Ratiovent SE
Powerful industrial air curtain for horizontal installation above sectional doors
Where air intake from above is not possible due to limited installation space, for example because of a sectional door, the Ratiovent SE provides an alternative solution. Air is drawn into the unit from the front, while the air discharge is positioned directly above the door opening.

Ratiovent SW-V
Powerful industrial air curtain for vertical installation
With its central air discharge nozzle, the Ratiovent housing type SW-V is suitable for vertical installation directly on large industrial doors where, for example, a guide rail of the door runs along the wall. The air intake is at the rear. Its modular design allows the system to cover wide industrial door openings.

1 of 5CNC manufacturing of the housing components enables a high level of dimensional accuracy and consistent manufacturing quality.
2 of 5The nozzle can be adjusted in defined increments, allowing the air discharge angle to be set precisely.
3 of 5The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost continuously across the entire length of the unit. When several units are installed side by side, this allows a largely continuous discharge area to be created across the doorway.
4 of 5The large nozzle sidewalls help to guide the airflow through the discharge opening. An additional flow profile divides the airflow into a primary and secondary air stream. The higher discharge velocity of the primary air stream increases the penetration depth of the airflow.
5 of 5Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Frost protection thermostat
The frost protection thermostat mounted on the heat exchanger measures the temperature via a capillary sensor. Below 7 °C, it instructs the control board to open valves and switch off fans to prevent frost damage.
Door contact
The door contact is connected to the air curtain control system and enables automatic operation: when the door opens, it switches on the air curtain; when the door closes, the device is automatically deactivated again.

Teddington industrial air curtains are powder-coated to a high standard and supplied in RAL 7011 Iron Grey as standard. Six additional colours are available for a small surcharge, with custom colours available on request.
