Compact industrial air curtain for unheated applications
The Teddington Induvent is a compact industrial air curtain designed for applications where air separation is required without additional heating. It can be installed horizontally above the door or vertically alongside it and is available in different housing types for a wide range of industrial door and building situations.
The patented CONVERGO® pressure chamber nozzle system produces a stable, precisely directed air stream while requiring a lower air volume than conventional air curtain systems. This can reduce the exchange of indoor and outdoor air through open industrial doors and help to reduce draughts in adjacent working areas.
For horizontal installation, the Induvent is suitable for recommended installation heights of up to 4.00 m. With vertical installation, door widths of up to 4.00 m can be covered with a unit on one side and up to 8.00 m with units installed on both sides.
In addition to conventional industrial door applications, the Induvent can also be used to reduce the spread of odour emissions, for example at doors and gates in recycling facilities.

2 of 7The aerodynamically shaped air intake grille supports a uniform air supply to the unit.
3 of 7The nozzle can be adjusted in defined increments, allowing the air discharge angle to be set precisely.
4 of 7The discharge opening of the patented CONVERGO® nozzle extends almost continuously across the entire length of the unit. When several units are installed side by side, this allows a largely continuous discharge area to be created across the doorway.
5 of 7The large nozzle sidewalls help to guide the airflow through the discharge opening. An additional flow profile divides the airflow into a primary and secondary air stream. The higher discharge velocity of the primary air stream increases the penetration depth of the airflow.

Housing type S
Horizontal wall or ceiling installation, air intake at the front.
Housing type U
Ceiling installation, air intake below.
Housing type S-V
Vertical unit on one side, air intake at the front.
Housing type U-V
Left and right vertical units, air intake and discharge are directly in the door area.
Housing type Z-V
Vertical unit on one side, air intake at the rear.
Wide range of accessories
A wide range of accessories is available for our air curtains – from contact switches and thermostats to temperature sensors, valves and practical mounting accessories. This allows the units to be adapted to different requirements and installation situations.
Comfort ceiling bracket
The comfort ceiling bracket enables stable multi-point mounting of the air curtain and reduces vibrations and noise.
Door contact
The door contact is connected to the air curtain control system and enables automatic operation: when the door opens, it switches on the air curtain; when the door closes, the device is automatically deactivated again.

Individual colours
Teddington industrial air curtains are powder-coated to a high standard and supplied in RAL 7011 Iron Grey as standard. Six additional colours are available for a small surcharge, with custom colours available on request.
